Software has always been able to call APIs. It has never been good at using the parts of the web that only have a human interface — booking flows, dashboards, portals, forms. Node Mantis closes that gap: you describe a goal, and an agent drives a real browser to accomplish it.
Our design choice is deliberate. Browser control, cookies, and session storage stay on your machine. For each decision, task instructions, selected page context, and screenshots are sent to the service, which returns the next action while handling the model, authentication, and usage-based metering.
The split is versioned deliberately. Hosted decision logic can improve on our side, while native browser and SDK capabilities arrive in explicit client releases. You only pay for the hosted work you use.
